In April Florencia was in Bambang visiting the children of the Project. The active Bambang Committee organised a get together for the children and their parents. The freshly painted Senior Citizens Hall was the venue for the post- Easter and Recognition Day event.

The programme began with a prayer led by Pastor Laurence Lugo, who praised the parents for their patience and courage in bringing up their children, who have multiple diverse needs, in the best way they can and in very stressful circumstances. The Pastor also acknowledged that because of the BSP and the hard working London and Bambang Committees, these children have the opportunity of a better life. The Pastor led the group in prayers for all the people who help with their financial support. Mrs. Soriano, Chairperson of the Bambang Committee, welcomed the group and the Project co-ordinator, Daisy, led the singing, which was greatly enjoyed by everybody.
